My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Not something I would ordinarily pick up, but the flyleaf description caught my attention at the library.
A professor, an authority on Milton’s Paradise Lost, uses his knowledge of demonic mythology to save his daughter from the underworld.
Along the way, this explores the father/daughter relationship, as well as the father’s friendship with a female professor.
I read this in a couple of days, because it kept my interest whenever I picked it up.
I will not go into more depth, so I don’t end up spoiling the read for others.
