Worth Dying For is Lee Child’s fifteenth Jack Reacher novel.
The Jack Reacher character is a tough ex-military MP, who is totally off the grid, traveling from place to place, getting involved with local problems that pique his interest.
Usually he is just passing through town when he gets involved with some kind of problem. The problem may be of a criminal nature, or just someone needing his unique kind of help.
The books do not really need to be read in any kind of order. I personally have read all of them, and enjoyed them.
In my opinion these books are great for times like I just went through, waiting in the hospital while my Mom had surgery, or any other time when you can’t keep reading all the way through. There is lots of action, and you can put it down and come back without losing a sense of what is going on.
I always put these books on reserve at the library when I see them come out, because I know it will be a good read.
