Creative Copy Challenge #63
BET YOU CAN’T take the 10 random words below and, in the comments, create a cohesive, creative short story tying all the words together! And remember: after (if) you finish, highlight your words and click the bold button to make them stand out and help you determine if you forgot any words. (If you’ve missed some challenges, we BET YOU CAN’T do those, either.)
This was done in inverse numerical order (1, 10, 2, 9, 3, 8, etc.):
I found it very hard to follow that they could abduct such a sturdy, yet addictive personality. With such steady and competent personnel usually handling things, this captive audience was unable to return to the detail of the reasoning in the plot.
The pattern of the abduction did not mimic the motive, so the show was really hard to understand.
As this occurred only some twenty minutes in, and I was so confused, I switched channels. Only then did I realize that when I got up, at the first commercial break, the cat had stepped on the remote which switched between two similar shows.
Moral: Always take the remote with you if you have a cat, or check to make sure you are still on the same channel when you come back.
