This was the announcement as published:
“Tonight you should pay special attention as Jorge shows us the best way to hold your smart phone so the flashlight app will shine down the center of the road while you drive.”
In actuality the program was about maximizing the power of the flashlight’s beam and how to mount the smart phone so it does not twist around as you drive.
Moral:
Make sure the editor always contacts you before publishing your announcements.

Steve,
As I don’t have a smartphone, I don’t “get it”. Is there really a flashlight app?
Cheers,
Mitch
Mitch,
There are many flashlight apps, the one I use on my Android, from the Google Play store, is:
It comes in real handy, as I have my smartphone with me most of the time, but not an actual flashlight.
That’s pretty neat! So, what was the bit about the phone twisting while driving? was that humor?
Cheers,
Mitch
It wasn’t an attempt at humor. But, from personal experience, mounting a smartphone in a vehicle is not easy, as unless you get things just right it seems to twist around to where you don’t want it.
Steve, I guess I just didn’t have a clue. 🙂
Cheers,
Mitch
Not surprising, considering you don’t have a smartphone, so have no experience with them.
Some day, you too will end up with one though.
